Teachers will have the chance to build connections, exchange ideas, and strengthen their leadership skills while completing the TExpL coursework.鈥

This unique opportunity opens the door for educators from districts that do not have a full cohort currently participating in TExpL. Individuals will join a diverse group of their peers and will have the opportunity to collaborate and network while completing the courses. The open cohort model fosters a dynamic, blended learning environment where educators can share insights and best practices from different school settings.

The curriculum is designed to enhance teaching and leadership capabilities, equipping educators with the skills and techniques necessary to help students excel in today鈥檚 evolving educational landscape and beyond. This new open cohort will offer a flexible and inclusive way for teachers across the region to engage in professional development. Over 400 educators from Berks County School districts and beyond have enrolled in the coursework, impacting tens of thousands of K-12 learners state-wide.

The four courses are taken one at a time and span a full calendar year. The first day of coursework will take place on January 20, 2025.
